Three Law students, Aoife Killackey, Bailey McCrindle and Caoimhe Ringland have received a highly sought after prize – worth £3,000 – after achieving the highest marks in their Tort Law module at Queen’s University Belfast as part of the ‘widening access’ programme.
The programme aims to support students who have the ability to succeed in higher education, irrespective of socio-economic background; disability; ethnicity; political opinion; gender; marital status; sexual orientation; or age.
JMK Solicitors, Northern Ireland’s leading Personal Injury and Road Traffic accident law firm, launched the student prize in 2019 in conjunction with Queen’s University.
Congratulating Aoife, Bailey and Caoimhe on winning the prize, Maurece Hutchinson, Managing Director at JMK, said, “We are very pleased for Aoife, Bailey and Caoimhe who have done exceptionally well.
