JMK Solicitors acted for a client from Co. Antrim who tripped on a wire that was wrapped between traffic cones on a residential street in Belfast.
Our client was walking back to her parked vehicle at night when she tripped over the metal wire that was protruding from traffic cones that had been placed along the side of the road. She suffered a fall causing injuries to her knee, foot and finger which resulted in pain and swelling.
Medical reports were obtained by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and a Consultant Hand Therapist.
Following an initial offer, the client was advised by us to reject the same as insufficient and shortly thereafter Court proceedings were initiated.
JMK Solicitors negotiated a settlement of £22,000 for our client in respect of her injuries.
