Background
Amy is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, where she studied Law and Hispanic Studies, and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. With 10 years of experience in personal injury claims, road traffic accident claims, medical negligence, and employer liability, Amy has some prior experience in defence litigation for 2 years before she made the move to plaintiff litigation, which she prefers.
Amy is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Experience
- Acted for a client who was involved in a road traffic accident on a narrow country road. The client had a watch of sentimental value which was damaged. Amy engaged Lunns Jewellers who confirmed the value of the watch. The client was delighted to receive the monetary amount to replace the watch.
- Acted for a client who was terminally ill and also suffering from a number of psychological issues, following exposure to asbestos in his job role many years previously. Amy secured a six figure settlement for this client.
- Acted for a young man who developed carpal tunnel after working with vibrating tools in his job role. His company closed down and he had no other job experience so was required to retrain. Amy secured a six-figure settlement for the injury sustained and the loss of earnings.
Outside of work
Outside of work, Amy enjoys keeping fit by attending the gym and doing Pilates regularly.
