Will I have to go to court?

Now in its 11th year, the Northern Ireland Road Safety Awards are organised by Road Safe NI Charity in collaboration with CRASH Services, the largest accident management company in Northern Ireland. This prestigious event recognises the outstanding contributions of individuals, organisations, and special projects that have made a significant impact on road safety across the region.

The awards ceremony, held today at Belfast Castle on Friday, 21 November 2025. Over 100 invited guests gather to celebrate Northern Ireland’s road safety champions. A total of 12 awards were presented across various sectors, including education, voluntary organisations, emergency services, business, and the public sector.

The event’s highest honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented to Lynda Hurley by Liz Kimmins MLA, Minister for Infrastructure, in recognition of Linda’s long-standing dedication to improving road safety in Northern.

Minister Kimmins said: “I would like to congratulate Linda on receiving this prestigious lifetime achievement award, which is greatly deserved. Linda’s dedication and commitment to improving road safety has shone through in the work she has done. I would like to personally thank Linda for helping to deliver our road safety objectives on behalf of the Department.”
