Susan Morrison

Susan has over 30 years of experience working in both Defendant and Plaintiff Litigation in Northern Ireland. Susan joined JMK Solicitors in May 2011.

A graduate of Queen’s University, Belfast, and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies (IPLS), Susan has worked in litigation since her time as an apprentice, and it is a job she loves. She enjoys the research, preparation, and the thrill of court.

Susan is a Senior Tutor at the IPLS Head of Civil Litigation course, teaching all of Northern Ireland’s young solicitors on both County and High Court litigation. She is also a member of the Clients Complaints Committee of the Law Society, allowing her the opportunity to use her experience to the benefit of clients who may be unhappy with how they have been represented by their Solicitors.

Susan takes a straightforward factual approach to her work which she believes gives clients confidence and reassurance.  She enjoys being part of changing the litigation landscape, setting precedents, and being at the cutting edge of legal change in Northern Ireland.

As a mother to two teenagers who are learning how to drive and planning for university, Susan is kept busy!
