Cieran has over a decade of experience in dealing with all types of personal injury litigation including accidents at work, road traffic collisions and public liability claims.
Cieran is a graduate of Ulster University and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies. During his studies, Cieran worked in the manufacturing industry as a trade union representative dealing with Health and Safety issues. This role has given him a unique perspective when working with a client who has been involved in an accident in the workplace.
Cieran is empathetic to his clients, ensuring they know that he is aware and understands the impact a traumatic incident can have on their lives. He helps to manage expectations from the outset and is clear in his communications with clients. His aim is to get each case dealt with as efficiently as possible. He likes to take a case from start to finish, seeing his clients compensated and acknowledged appropriately.
- Acted for a client who was involved in an accident at his work as a groundsman. While cutting an area of grass, Cieran’s client was injured when the ride-on mower he was using tipped and fell on top of him, causing significant injuries. After initially contacting another solicitor who declined to take the case, the client was delighted when Cieran took a different view of the case and was able to secure a substantial settlement.
- Secured a five-figure settlement amount for a tree surgeon client who received life changing injuries to his finger while at work.
Outside of work
