Carmel has over 13 years of legal experience, following her graduation from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, prior to which she completed a Law and Government degree from Ulster University.
She chose to specialise in personal injury work following her experience at JMK Solicitors after joining in September 2010 as she found the work interesting and enjoys helping clients who have been through a traumatic experience.
Carmel is a Teaching Assistant in Tort at Queens University, Belfast and is a Graduate Mentor for the Graduates at JMK Solicitors, providing ongoing support and training for them. She is also a trained First Aider.
Carmel likes to ensure her clients don’t feel like they are just a number. She keeps lines of communication open, always explaining the process step by step in clear terms. She reassures worried clients from the outset of the case and builds a relationship with them, ensuring the case is brought to a successful conclusion they are happy with. Carmel’s clients know that they can depend on her to get the job done.
