Background
Aoife joined JMK Solicitors in June 2023 as a member of the JMK Graduate Programme.
Prior to joining JMK Solicitors, Aoife studied law at Queens University Belfast, graduating in the summer of 2023.
In May 2024 Aoife completed the JMK Legal Graduate course and moved to a Legal Executive position.
Approach
In her second year of studying law at Queen’s University Belfast, Aoife was awarded the prestigious JMK Solicitors Prize. This was awarded to Aoife after she achieved the highest mark in her Tort Law module as part of the ‘widening access’ programme.
This award was set up to support students who go the extra mile in the study of Tort Law, which relates to what JMK Solicitors do in seeking compensation for those who suffer personal injury, loss, or damage caused by a civil wrong.
Aoife chose to work in JMK Solicitors as our work in Personal Injury aligned with her interest in Tort Law.
Outside of work
Aoife enjoys going for walks, attending yoga classes and getting coffee with her friends.
