Background

Amy deals primarily with personal injury claims, employers and occupiers’ liability and is also a member of our specialist team at JMK Solicitors dealing with taxi clients.

Amy is a graduate of Queens University Belfast and The Institute of Professional Legal Studies. Prior to joining JMK Solicitors in 2019, Amy worked for firms in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland across a variety of practice areas including personal injury litigation.

Approach

Amy takes an upfront and direct approach, and tackles perceived issues head-on to manage her clients’ expectations. She is friendly and approachable and enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal level.

Experience

  • Acted for a client who fell in a pothole and suffered a fractured arm, securing a six-figure settlement sum.
  • Has achieved particular success in LVI (low-velocity impact) settlements, achieving good results for clients with minimal damage to their vehicles.

Outside of work

Amy enjoys keeping active at the gym and spends time doing yoga. She also loves to unwind by watching the latest murder mystery documentary on Netflix!
