Background
Rebekah joined JMK Solicitors in July 2022 as a Solicitor in our Personal Injury Team, dealing with all manner of road traffic accident claims.
Rebekah not only has experience in personal injury claims, but she also has experience in dealing with Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
Rebekah is a graduate of Common and Civil Law with French from Queen’s University Belfast and the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
Approach
Having worked in a customer facing role since 2007, Rebekah appreciates that dealing with solicitors can be daunting and off putting for many, so she aims to be approachable and friendly, explaining the process in straightforward terms. She loves being able to help someone through what can be a particularly upsetting or stressful time.
Experience
- Acted for a pedestrian who was knocked down whilst trimming a hedge, the client sustained multiple fractures to their face and body. The insurer initially tried to allege contributory negligence however it settled with no liability attributable to the client.
- Acted for a client who sustained a fractured ankle following a fall at a bar. Liability was denied by the Defendant. The client moved outside the Jurisdiction midway through the claim. Rebekah arranged medical appointments & ultimately settle the case, saving the client the hassle of returning to NI.
Outside of work
Outside of the office, Rebekah loves to eat out with family and friends. She also enjoys walking her Golden Retriever, Barney.
