Michelle Murphy

Michelle Murphy is the Director of Human Resources at JMK Solicitors, where she leads the firm’s people strategy, talent development and organisational culture. With over 14 years’ experience in HR and Operations across both JMK Solicitors and CRASH Services, Michelle plays a key role in shaping a collaborative, high-performing workplace that supports the company’s mission and values.

Michelle was instrumental in the development and implementation of the 4-day working week at JMK Solicitors, a transformative initiative that enhanced work-life balance while maintaining full pay and benefits for all employees. She continues to support and mentor organisations taking part in the 4-day week pilot in Ireland and internationally.

Michelle began her career in law, qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007 after studying at the University of Ulster and Queen’s University Belfast. Her interest in business and organisational management led her to move into human resources, where she has held senior leadership roles for over a decade. In 2021, Michelle became a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, reflecting her professional commitment to excellence in HR practice and people management.
