Orla McAteer

Orla joined JMK Solicitors in December 2022 as an Apprentice Solicitor working as part of the Personal Injury team. Orla undertook her qualification at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in

Orla studied for a Bachelor of Laws degree at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating in July 2019. Orla then attended the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2021.

Orla is keen to continue specialising and developing her knowledge within the area of personal injury working alongside experienced colleagues at JMK Solicitors.

Orla’s previous legal experience includes working as a paralegal in a mid-tier commercial firm specialising in Plaintiff Litigation. Orla also worked in a general practice with a specific focus on personal injury including public liability, employer’s liability, road traffic collisions and medical negligence both in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland which further developed her desire for working in personal injury litigation.

Orla enjoys running and has competed in the Dublin Marathon and the Great North Run. Orla also enjoys travelling, watching foreign tv shows and spending time with her family and dog, Maisie.
